Deep Sorrel gelding. This is the perfect little guy for smaller riders who want a horse who has the experience and training to do it all, but who is not a “dead head”. He turns on a dime, will go the speed you want, and has the get and go to keep it fun. Stands to mount and dismount, very responsive, neck reins, knows the one hand brake. Puts head down when asked. He has been used as a camp horse and has lots of endurance miles. He has been ridden in multiple terrain, including paved roads in the Midwest, Nevada and California. Good for trail, endurance, smaller riders. Though he is forgiving of beginners and has been used for lesson and trail with children and elderly, he does have some get up and go behind him, so because of this only, we would not recommend him for those who are beginners or who are looking for a “dead head” trail horse.
